Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born on the 10th of December, 1987) is a American journalist and sportscaster. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter and presents in their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first interested in stock car racing when she was granted a pit-lane pass. After graduation, she attended Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. She gained attention after her own videos about NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born on 10 December, 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was born in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family relocated to Warrenton to begin Vincie's high school. Vincie is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather. He was a member of Bridgewater College's faculty. She was interested in journalism since a young age. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School, in the year 2006. Vincie was an athlete in track and field and served as the school's manager for four years. She won the 800m event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had the pleasure of meeting Al Pearce, a journalist who was a mentor and gave Vincie many details. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in communications. Vincie was an intern for the university's athletics department, and also worked with the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. She wrote a senior dissertation on auto racing gender disparity which focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She became attracted to the sport when she got a pit-lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. She names Krista Voda as well as Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
