Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was born in Los Angeles,
California, the daughter of producer, media mogul, and musician Quincy Jones
and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is her older sister. She also has five
half-siblings from the other relationships her father had with his family. Her
father is African-American . her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant of
exiles from Russia and Latvia). Rashida was educated in Reform Judaism. She was
born in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Jones stated that Jones had mixed race parents who
did not suit her in the 1970s. Jones began her debut as a professional actor in
The Last Don in 1997 an animated mini-series, which was influenced by Mario
Puzo. Rashida completed her studies at Harvard University in 1997. The course
was at the Buckley School, Sherman Oaks, California. She was voted the most
likely to suffer. Arabic (O+ O'UO-O(c) Her name) means "Major,"

which was written by Kidada Jones, her sister. Kidada and Rashida were created
by Quincy Jones III, the brother of Quincy Jones III. Quincy Jones III was
present for the intro and sang the lyrics of Shakur's poem "Starry
Night." The poem is the inspiration for the song's name. Rashida's father,
who's African-American, also has smaller percentage of English, Scottish and
Welsh ancestry (some relatives of Rashida's African family are from the Tikar people
in Cameroon). Rashida is Ashkenazi Jewish, of Russian Jewish and Latvian Jewish
descent. Her paternal grandparents are from South Carolina and Mississippi,
respectively. Her maternal grandfather was born in New York, and her maternal
grandmother was born in Dublin, Ireland, of Eastern European Jewish origin. As
of the end of 2009 she was playing three distinct characters as
"Karen", on the iconic sitcoms on TV: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Stella
((2005) and The Office ((2005)).
