Denise Lee Richards Bio

In 1998 she appeared in the music clip for Blues Traveler’s Canadian Rose. Richards was cast to play the role of Christmas Jones (nuclear-physicist) in The World Is Not Enough (1999), which grossed a lot at the box office. Although she considered herself to be "brainy", "athletic", as well as having depth of character, Richards was criticised for not being credible in her role. There were many comments about her outfit. It often featured a tight-fitting tank top and low-cut shorts. Entertainment Weekly listed her as one their worst Bond girls. In 2008, she was named "Worst Actress" at the 1999 Razzies Awards. Richards appeared in several situation comedy films, including Spin City and Two and a Half Men. She also starred, in 2005, in the UPN short-lived series Sex, Love & Secrets. Richards had a series of film roles during the 2000s which parodied Richards' image as a sexual symbol. Five months after giving her first child, she posed for a nude pictorial with Playboy magazine in December 2004. Richards also posed seminude on the cover of Jane magazine July 2006 to raise money towards Clothes Off Our Back Foundation. Maxim's 50 Sexiest Women listed her as 9th in 1999. FHM's 100 Sexiest Women also listed Richards as 5th. AskMen.com named Richards 19th most beautiful woman in its Most Beautiful Women list in 2001. Richards was paired with Maksim Cherkovskiy on the 8th series of Dancing with the Stars. On March 24, 2009, she was eliminated as second. Richards sang the song "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", in the seventh inning of the Wrigley Field game on May 1, 2009.
