Mena Alexandra Suvari Bio

Suvari was a guest on one episode of Psych in 2010 and in The Cape in 2011, and also had a two-episode sequence as the Black Dahlia in Murder House, the first season of the horror anthology series American Horror Story. Suvari played the psychotic assistant of a pet photographer in the romantic comedy You May Not Kiss the Bride (2010). Katharine McPhee, Dave Annable and Rob Schneider were also in the ensemble. The film was premiered at the Sonoma International Film Festival. The film was released in select theaters as well as on VOD. However, it was mostly criticized. Blu-ray.com classified the film as "a noisy, unlikable distractor" that "depends upon Suvari and Schneider for comedy work. It's as appealing as it does." In 2011, Suvari also was a part of the TV film No Surrender, as a writer with a deranged stalker, and in the B-film Restitution, opposite Tom Arnold. Suvari was seen in American Pie when she played the role as Heather in American Reunion (2012). The film's plot revolved around original protagonists who are advancing in age and planning the possibility of a reunion. The film was praised by critics as be an "sweetly nostalgic and comfort food" for those who love the franchise. With an international gross of $235 million, American Reunion emerged as Suvari's most watched film since 2001's American Pie 2. The film was also her only broad release in the decade of 2010, as did all of her previous and subsequent film productions --The Knot (2012), Don't Blink (2014), The Opposite Sex (2014), Badge of Honor (2015), and Becks (2017)-were released on festival circuits or online markets.
