Missy Peregrym Bio

Missy was born in Montreal, Quebec. She lived the majority of her life in Surrey, British Columbia with her father (a minister) as well as her mother (a sister and two brothers). At the age of 18, she began modeling and started her career in front cameras. Soon, the print ads became commercials for Mercedes Benz and Sprint Canada. Hollywood was shortly on the scene. Missy made her first appearance as a guest in the drama series Dark Angel (2000) opposite Jessica Alba. Then she was cast as Julia in the critically-acclaimed cable series The Chris Isaak Show (2001). The show then offered her the part of Tory Stratton, Black Sash's lead lady in 2003. She also appeared on the television shows Life as We Know It (2004) and Reaper (2007). Missy was the star of Stick It (2006), an upcoming film that focused on gymnastics. She also appeared as police officer Andy McNally in ABC's prime-time police drama Rookie Blue (2010). A dedicated soccer player, Missy's schedule has forced her to take time away from the sport however she still plays games whenever she can. She loves snowboarding and outdoor activities in the Vancouver mountains. She lives in Vancouver with her family.
