Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was baptized Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) on August 14, 1983. At the age of seven, Kunis immigrated to the United States with her parents, Mark and Elvira, along with her elder brother, Michael, and eventually settled in Los Angeles. It was a hard beginning for the Kunis families that arrived in their new country with just $250. Kunis' parents gave up their jobs to move and set out to provide their children a better future. Mark, an engineer who retired, was soon able to get work as a cab driver. Elvira who had studied physics in Ukraine became a pharmacist. "I did not understand the American culture," Kunis has said when she first arrived in the United States. "I did not know anyone. I couldn't comprehend their language. My essay to get in college began with this sentence: "Imagine being blinded and deaf by the age of 7." It was a very similar experience to the feeling of moving to the States. But it was not a difficult change. Milena Markovna Kunis is daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was on the 14th of August, 1983. She is the older sister to her older brother. Her mother is a teacher of physics and also manages an apothecary. Her father is a mechanical engineer, however, he also works as taxi driver. Her family moved to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary School was her primary school. When she was nine she began learning to act. After auditioning for couple of commercials and a few TV shows, she made her debut on 'Days of our Lives. She also starred as a child actor in the  show 'Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, 'Santa with Muscles,' and the Angelina Jolie movie, Gia. In 1998, she was given the role of Jackie Burkhart in the hit sitcom "That '70s Show". She received praise for her performance, and was later asked to lend her voice to the character in 'Family Guy' in the role of Meg Griffin.
