Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 in 1968. She is a Canadian actor, singer and musician. She is most famous for her performances in American television shows Law & Order (where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She was also acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted and independent films like Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat seller and a sales/marketing executive. The job involved lots of travel, which caused frequent family changes. Maxine, Maxine's mother, died in the year 1982. She left her daughter in the care of Eleanor Her paternal grandmother. She has a younger brother named John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and a identical twin sister, Jacqueline She is a magazine writer and TV show host in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish and French, Swedish, Italian and Swedish roots from her father. mostly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. She was educated at Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister made their acting debut as twins in the 1988 film Dead Ringers. According to Gillian Anderson (the actress who was cast in the role) she was a finalist for the role of Dana Scully in The X-Files. In 1993, Hennessy was signed by Dick Wolf as Claire Kincaid an assistant district attorney on the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role was held for three seasons until she left the show in 1996.
