Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18 1979. Her roles in The Mentalist as Kim Fischer and Supernatural as Amara/The Darkness are her most popular. She also appears as the Armorer in the live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian as well as a role as Emily in the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born in Washington, D.C. on December 18 1979. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began acting at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also performed in professional and amateur productions of theatre. In 2001, she graduated with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, and afterward, she pursued an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.Swallow started her career in Broadway theatre which she acted in diverse productions, such as High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, and the world premiere of off Broadway productions Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure.In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. She appeared in two world premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's play Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. Her name is required to be cited. the winner of the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the best female performer for the role in the role of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman collaborated on a stage show titled Jac N Swallow. It was performed in Joe's Pub and the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show is based on the humorous mishaps of the two as they navigate very different challenges in their lives with varying degrees of sanity as well as dignity.
