Melanie Jayne Lynskey, born 16 May 1977, is a New Zealand actress. She is known for her unique voice, which is soft and confident. She is primarily involved in films that are independent. Outside of film, Lynskey achieved fame with her performance as Rose on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men (2003-2015). She was a part of Togetherness from 2015 until the year 2016. For which she was nominated for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Award for the best supporting artistress.
