Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. She is of French Canadian and English descent. Cony High School, Augusta is where she earned the high jump award. She attended Columbia University in New York City which is where she graduated with a double major in economics and math. She started modeling and launched an impressive career as a model working with a number of prestigious companies, including Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel began acting by landing a role in the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) at her very first audition. Her film debut was as Jessica Matthews in Dumb and Dumberer: The Story of How Harry Met Lloyd (2003). Success continued with performances in projects such like The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Criminal Minds (2005) (a regular part as FBI Agent Ashley Seaver) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). Columbia University was her graduation with a double major in economics as well as math. She played the main role of Kiera Cameron, a police officer in the science fiction film Continuum (2012).
